Red Bull Thieves Sought In Northwest Indiana

Hammond police have released photos of two suspects they say have stolen more than 400 cans of Red Bull from convenience stores in the area.

HAMMOND, IN -- A pair of thieves who have been targeting gas stations in Northwest Indiana and who police say have stolen hundreds of cans of Red Bull are being sought in Hammond, where police have released images of two suspects and the car they are alleged to have fled multiple theft sites. One of the suspects is described as an older black man in his 60s with a white beard and medium build. The other is a black man in his 40s with a thin to medium build.

Police say that in one of the crimes a black woman accompanied the pair, who have made off with more than 400 cans of the energy drink according to police. In addition to gas stations, the two have stolen items from convenience stores and retail outlets.

They have been observed in a white, older model sedan with a sunroof. Police say the car is possibly a Mercedes.
