Man Dead After Train Hits Car In Michigan City
Officials reported the nearly 200 passengers aboard the train are safe.
MICHIGAN CITY, IN — One person is dead after an Amtrak train hit a car at Eastwood and Tyron Roads, police reported. WSBT says according to Michigan City firefighters, the victim was in the car when the train hit, and officials say close to 200 passengers were on the train during the incident.
According to Michigan City police, the victim was an older man.
WSBT reported all passengers aboard the train are safe.
