Brickworld® LEGO® Exposition Celebrates 11 Years in Indianapolis
Brickworld Comes to Indiana State Fairgrounds November 14 & 15 Features Global Sensation "Great Ball Contraption" Created in Indy

The Brickworld® LEGO® Exposition has moved its Indianapolis Show to the weekend of November 14 - 15, 2020, at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, Blue Ribbon Pavilion, 1202 East 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN, 46205. The Expo runs Saturday from 10 am-6 pm, and Sunday from 10 am-5 pm. General admission tickets are $12, and $9 for military members and first responders (at the door only). Kids under three are free. State Fairgrounds parking is $8. Tickets that were purchased in advance for the original show dates will still be honored.
At Brickworld Expo Indianapolis, hundreds of hobbyists of all ages will enjoy playing at LEGO and DUPLO brick stations, seeing spectacular creations, and visiting vendor booths to enhance collections. The Indy Expo will feature 50 displays, including a large working “Jurassic Roller Coaster,” the “M-Tron Space Mining Company” and the “Geonosis Droid Factory” from Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones. A large-scale model of the Indiana State Soldiers and Sailors Monument from downtown Indy will be on display (pictured below).
The Brickworld Expo will also feature a Play Brick area with many brick options; a community Graffiti Wall, where participants can create whatever they like; and the Great Ball Contraption (GBC) a giant collection of small LEGO machines that pass thousands of LEGO soccer balls around a loop. The now-world-famous GBC originally debuted at Brickworld. Many Expo attendees film GBC demonstrations, walkthroughs and module-building tutorials to post online. Brickworld holds the record for the longest GBC loop, and this area is often the most popular display where attendees should plan to spend time watching the entire system.

Carpenter Ole Kirk Christiansen created LEGO in 1932, named after the Danish world leg godt, meaning play well. The LEGO brick is widely recognized as one of the most educational toys in the world. Research suggests children learn best through play and LEGO bricks offer a wide range of benefits to development and confidence. Using LEGO bricks exercises creativity skills, hand-eye coordination, and matrix reasoning. At Brickworld, participants of all ages can witness and learn a variety of ways to use the brick for art and engineering applications.
