Colts 2018 Training Camp Schedule Includes 'Fan-Focused' Days

The Indianapolis Colts and the City of Westfield release 2018 Training Camp Schedule, which is the 'most fan-focused' to date.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Indianapolis Colts fans get ready! The team released the 2018 Colts Training Camp schedule Wednesday for the July 25 to Aug. 18 dates, which will be held at the Grand Park Sports Campus in Westfield for the first year. The team says this summer is the first year of a 10-year partnership to host camp at the Westfield location, nearly 20 miles north of Indianapolis.

According to the release on the team website, this year's training camp will be the most fan-focused Colts camp to date.

“There’s no better way to kick off our 35th season in Indiana than holding our training camp in this wonderful new venue,” said Carlie Irsay-Gordon, Colts vice chair and owner, in a release. “Training camp obviously is designed to prepare our team for a long, rigorous season in the NFL. But this year, we are building a bigger and better experience for our fans so they can be a part of this exciting process.”

Cost to attend training camp at Grand Park Sports Campus is free, but fans and guests must get a free ticket to enter each day, which can be obtained at Colts.com/Camp.

Fans will have their eye on quarterback Andrew Luck, who threw a football in front of media during the early part of the team's three minicamp practices on June 12, nearly seven months after being placed on Injured Reserve.

Fans also must follow the NFL's "clear bag" policy which is also in effect on game days.

Training camp highlights include special themed days honoring local community nonprofits, military personnel, youth football and others, as well as Colts City, Colts In Motion, the Colts Play 60 Zone, the Colts Pro Shop and much more, including:

• Saturday, July 28: Colts City is open from noon to 4 p.m.; practice 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.; Kids Day, presented by Riley Children’s Health, featuring specially-priced kids’ meals, the Front Row Autograph Zone for kids-only autographs, balloon artists, face painting, rock wall climbing and other fun activities.
• Saturday, Aug. 18: Colts City is open from noon to 4 p.m.; practice 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.; Joint practice with the Baltimore Ravens; Bike To Camp Day, on which fans will be encouraged to ride bicycles to camp using the Monon Trail greenway.
