Free Parking, Admission At Indianapolis Zoo For These Workers
Perhaps you'll be able to see an orangutan up close, enjoying a 'snow cone' like the one in this story's video, shared by the zoo.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — The Indianapolis Zoo is following what they said is a great example set by the Children's Museum Indianapolis, and is offering free parking and admission through March 31, 2019 to federal employees affected by the current government shutdown.
The zoo said these offers are for federal employees who are working without pay or who've been furloughed, and their immediate family members. The zoo said bring your Indiana photo ID and a recent pay stub to enjoy a free day.
Stop by the zoo on Martin Luther King Day Monday, Jan. 21 and walk the grounds and see animals, especially the ones that enjoy being outdoors in the cooler temperatures. Don't forget to stop by the fun Children's Museum of Indianapolis, too!
