Fun Things To Do This Weekend In Carmel, Fishers, Indy: Last Sept. Weekend

FALL FUN: Welcome in fall fun and the month of October with festivals, farmers markets and a community walk event downtown.

It's the last weekend in September and the weather is still warm, so get outside and have some festival fall fun at these events across the Indianapolis area. There is something fun for adults and kids, including a free movie night. Here's a look at quite a few options for fun over the weekend:

Fishers Movies in the Park

2017's "Beauty and the Beast" will be shown at the Nickel Plate Amphitheater on Friday, Sept. 30 at sunset. Bring a blanket and pack a picnic for the free movie, or enjoy food available for purchase from mobile concessions. Be sure to share your pictures using #FishersMovies. Carmel Farmers Market
Saturday, Sept. 30 from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Center Green. Plenty of local goods, produce, treats and more.

Fishers Fall Harvest Festival

Join community members with Fishers Farmers' Market from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30 to celebrate the final summer farmers' market complete with family-friendly activities, Indiana-grown produce and more. There will be more than 55 vendors at the event with fresh fall-inspired products and flavors. There will be hay bales to climb, pumpkin bowling to try and much more. White River Festival

8 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Sept. 30 at White River State park. The White River Festival celebrates the White River, its tributaries and the surrounding 16-county watershed. The purpose of the festival is to raise awareness of the role this natural asset plays: a place of beauty and inspiration, critical drinking water source, habitat for many species of wildlife, and an economic driver for industry and development. Walk to End Alzheimer's

Thousands will unite to raise awareness for Alzheimer's research and prevention during the Alzheimer's Association's Indianapolis Walk to End Alzheimer's, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 30. Take part in the 3 mile walk or the 1 mile family walk beginning from Banker's Life Fieldhouse, 125 S. Pennsylvania Street. The donation-based event is free.
