On November 2, the American Lung Association in Indiana honors Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield with the coveted Legacy Award at the Evening of Promise Gala in Indianapolis.
Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield will be recognized for their commitment to public health and their focus on cancer prevention, healthy active lifestyle promotion and tobacco cessation.
“We work every day towards our mission to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease, but we can’t do it alone,” said Tanya Husain, executive director for the Lung Association. “Over the years, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield has been a tremendous partner of the Lung Association. They have made our work possible to help Hoosiers quit smoking, support programs to raise awareness for lung cancer screening and fund life-saving research.
