Indianapolis Masquerade Ball to ‘Unmask’ Number 1 Cancer Killer
Evening of Promise gala to raise awareness, funds for lung cancer

On November 2, Indianapolis residents will don black and while masks to help raise money for life-saving lung cancer research at the American Lung Association in Indiana’s Evening of Promise Gala.
The black tie event will feature a black and white masquerade ball theme. During the event, the Lung Association will honor Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield for their work to improve lung health in Indiana.
“Lung cancer is known as the silent or invisible killer, because it often doesn’t present any symptoms until the later stages of the disease. At this year’s Evening of Promise, we hope to ‘unmask’ this disease here in Indiana,” said Tanya Husain, executive director for the Lung Association. “The Evening of Promise will be truly impactful, as we will honor Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield for the incredible work they do to prevent lung disease, prevent tobacco use and fund critical local programing.”
