Indianapolis St. Patrick's Excitement Includes Free Uber Rides

INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- In an effort to combat drinking and driving, Uber is offering free rides in Indianapolis during St. Patrick's Day celebrations through 11 a.m. Sunday and 3 a.m. Saturday. All Uber users have to do to get the deal is enter promo code INDYSTPATS into their Uber app when requesting a ride for up to $15.

So don't test your luck on St. Patrick's Day, utilize this code. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) says in just 2016, 60 people were killed in drunk-driving crashes during the holiday period.

All the St. Patrick's Day fun begins at 5 p.m. Thursday in downtown Indianapolis with the Hoosier Lottery Greening of the Canal from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Ohio and West Street, East of fire station (13).
