This local guide to Valentine's Day 2019 includes plenty of romantic fun, gifts and restaurant deals.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Valentine's Day is Thursday, Feb. 14, and if you're still looking for plans, gifts or dinner deals, we've put together a list of where to celebrate and where to find something special for that special someone. Ocean Prime: From Feb. 14 through 17, Ocean Prime Indianapolis invites guests to impress their dinner date with a delicious and romantic dinner at Ocean Prime, 8555 North River Road, Indianapolis. In addition to its full menu, Ocean Prime will offer special Valentine’s Day features, including the following items: “Cherry Cordial” consisting of Amaretto, Cherry Liquor, Godiva and Crème de Cocoa; Lobster Ravioli; Wagyu Filet; Roasted Sea Bass over Alaskan King Crab Gnocchi with champagne cream; Warm Apricot, Cherry and Pistachio Brioche Bread Pudding. Sweets for Your Sweetie: 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m Thursday, Feb, 14. Celebrate Valentine's Day with treats from the tropics including chocolate and coffee, all while enjoying the candlelit romantic atmosphere at Garfield Park’s Conservatory; $10.

Everything Chocolate Cooking Class: Bring your chocolate cravings to the Nestle Inn home and take home some chocolate. RSVP for this popular class taking place Feb. 14 at 6:30 p.m. for $85.

White Castle: Taking reservations for Valentine’s Day at select locations in Indianapolis. You and your date can have a night to remember for $30 or less.

Shows and events:

Sharing the Love wedding vow renewal ceremony: The Valentine's Day celebration at the Indianapolis City Market will include cake, punch, a picture station, live entertainment, coupons to City Market merchants and more. The ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. and couples are welcome to remain afterwards.

Brothers Osborne: The country music stars are heading to Old National Centre for a Valentine’s Day performance of their biggest hits at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $35. Or head to Bankers Life Fieldhouse Feb. 14 for an unforgetable concert: Cher’s Here We Go Again Tour at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $58.

The Tenors: Three shows at Hilbert Circle Theatre. Catch two performances Feb. 15 at 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. and the final show Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $104.

IRT Celebrity Radio Show: Hosted by the Indiana Repertory Theatre Feb. 15. at 6:30 p.m. Don’t miss this on-of-a-kind fundraising event starting at $175.

Valentine’s Day Cabaret: For younger Valentines to enjoy at Peewinkle’s Puppet Studio through Feb. 13. Marionettes include magical music boxes, a dancing ostrich, butterflies and more. Tickets are $13 and Free for children under two.

Naughty or Nice Party: Howl at the Moon Friday, Feb. 15, starting at 7 p.m. Enjoy drink specials, games, live music and more. Date night table packages are available.

Gifts:

Portillo's Heart-shaped Chocolate Cake: Portillo’s is offering a Heart-Shaped Chocolate Cake for $15.99 through Feb. 17. The limited-time menu item is a fun holiday spin on the brand’s iconic Famous Chocolate Cake. A portion of proceeds from the sale of Heart-Shaped Chocolate Cakes, up to $25,000, will be donated to the American Red Cross.
