Indianapolis Week Ahead Weather: Rain, Gusts, Clear Days

INDIANAPOLIS — We can expect to see a mostly clear week ahead of us in central Indiana, save for rain and hazardous conditions Monday. Showers before 1 p.m. Monday are expected to dump between a tenth and a quarter of an inch of rain.

Tuesday morning will bring more rain, the National Weather Service says, in the early morning alongside gusts around 20 mph.

Wednesday to Friday, partly cloudy skies will dominate the forecast, alongside high temperatures rising from the 30's up to 50.

The hazardous weather outlook warns of strong gusts up to 35 mph as well as periods of heavy rain on Monday.

Rain likely, possibly mixed with snow showers, mainly before 7am. Cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 33 by 5pm. Southwest wind 13 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
