CENTRAL INDIANA -- Easter Weekend is almost here leading up to Easter Sunday on April 1, which means several egg hunts, brunches and religious services will take place across the Indianapolis area. If you're planning on celebrating Easter by heading to any of those, here are some helpful scheduling dates and details:
Easter Bunny:
- Castleton Square Mall - Last chance! 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. March 30 and 31.
- Keystone Fashion Mall - Last chance! 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. March 30 and 31.

Easter Egg Hunts:
- Bishop Chatard High School - Saturday, March 31. Annual Egg Hunt at the school from 10 a.m to noon, 5885 Crittenden Ave. Join in on the annual BCHS Easter Egg Hunt by registering online.
- Cathedral Easter Egg Hunt - Saturday, March 31 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Cathedral High School, 5225 E. 56th Street. All are welcome to join the fun and meet the Easter Bunny at the annual Easter Egg Hunt hosted by the Cathedral Alumni Association. Bring your own Easter basket as there are hundreds of eggs to find, arts and crafts, refreshments, doughnuts, plus more activities and family fun.
- Clay Terrace Egg Hunt - Saturday, March 31 on the Clay Terrace Lawn behind Kona Grill and Mitchell's Fish Market. The 7th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Clay Terrace Presented by Goldfish Swim School will have thousands of eggs for your little ones to hunt for from 9:30 a.m to 11:30 a.m.
- Easter on the Prairie and Breakfast with the Easter Bunny - Saturday, March 31 at 10 a.m. at Conner Prairie. Enjoy the Egg-stravaganza (weather permitting) for children ages 2 to 12. Collect candy-filled Easter eggs, enjoy a Soda Pop Challenge and more. Then at 11:30 a.m. enjoy a breakfast buffet, cookie decorating and meet with the Easter Bunny.
- Fishers YMCA Egg Hunt Fun - Saturday, March 31 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Fishers YMCA, 9012 E. 126th St. Hunt for eggs in the Family Pool or hunt on land in the backyard (weather-permitting). Meet the Easter Bunny, enjoy crafts, games, bounce house and more in the Family Gym. Pricing: $3 to $7 per person. Register for 2 p.m., 3 p.m., or 4 p.m.https://indyschild.com/2018-in...
- Zionsville Lions Club EGGnormous Egg Hunt - Lions Park, 115 S. Elm Street, 9 a.m. The fun begins with a continental breakfast for a donation, then the festivities start at 9:30 a.m. and the first egg hunt starts at 10:30 a.m.

- 2018 Indy VegFest - Indy VegFest will take place on Saturday, March 31 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Easter Weekend Religious Observances: Good Friday on March 30 begins the four-day Easter observance for Christians. For Jews, it's the beginning of the seven-day Passover observance. Archdiocese of Indianapolis provides a list of all Catholic parishes if you'd like to attend a certain Good Friday or Easter mass. The Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis also has event information for those who would like to attend a Passover Seder.
