IPS School Bus Carrying Students Crashes Into Pawn Shop
The bus crashed into the building after colliding with another car, according to reports.
INDIANAPOLIS, IN — No one was hurt after an Indianapolis Public Schools school bus carrying 26 students, a driver and an adult collided with another car and crashed into a pawn shop Tuesday morning on the city's east side, according to several reports. According to WXIN, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the crash site at the intersection of East 16th Street and North Emerson Avenue around 6:50 a.m. When police arrived, they found the school bus carrying Arsenal Tech students inside a Cash America Pawn building, WXIN reported.
IMPD said a vehicle headed eastbound on 16th Street and the other headed westbound both turned onto southbound Emerson Avenue and hit with one another.
According to WXIN, no foul play is suspected in the crash.
