UPDATE: Indiana Newborn At Riley Following Release From Cancun Hospital

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Update: Baby Beckham is now in Indianapolis at Riley Hospital for Children. He arrived Thursday evening, according to Fox59.

An American infant has been released from a Mexico hospital after being born prematurely in the country, FOX59 reports. Baby Beckham and his parents Michaela Smith and Larry Ralph Jr. are on their way back to Indiana on a medical jet after Beckham was held as a "medical hostage" by a Cancun hospital over bill payments, the family alleges. The infant was born 12 weeks premature Tuesday in Cancun, after Michaela's doctor gave her the all-clear to travel to Mexico for vacation. The family told Fox59 they urgently needed to get Beckham home to Martinsville after he dropped from 2.8 to 2.2 pounds.
