Several Last-Minute Mother's Day Plans In Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- Mother's Day is this Sunday and because spring can be busy for all of us, Patch is here to help you make plans for your Mother's Day celebration on May 13. Whether you're celebrating that day or instead on Saturday, May 12, several Indianapolis area venues and restaurants are offering brunches and events for mothers and families for Mother's Day weekend.

• Mother's Day Card Paper Making: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, May 12 at Zion Nature Center, 690 Beech St, Zionsville. More: 317area.com
• LouVino: The Mother's Day fun begins with "fabulous food" and $2 mimosas at 10 a.m., Sunday, May 13, 8626 E. 116th St., Fishers.
• Newfield's: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, May 13 at Newfields, 4000 Michigan Rd, Indianapolis. Take your mom on a walk through The Garden and make a stop at the Beer Garden.
• Gregs Our Place: 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., 231 E 16th St, Indianapolis. Enjoy brunch from scratch.

Let mom be serenaded in Italian by a singing gondolier as she is transported to Venice on the Canal. Book a 30-minute public boat ride at 3, 5 and 7 p.m. for $30 per person plus tip.
