Squared Circle Expo Debuts May 29-30 in Indy

Four months from today, the Squared Circle Expo will make its debut May 29-30 in Indianapolis. Taking the best elements of conventions and adding a few new ones, the Squared Circle Expo promises to deliver a unique fan experience.

The two day event will include wrestling superstars, meet and greets, photo ops, special events, seminars, memorabilia vendors, Q&A panels and more. There will even be a live wrestling show on Saturday night.

The first wave of wrestler announcements was recently released. Appearing will be Kane, Rey Mysterio, Christian, Vickie Guerrero, Al Snow, Demolition, Billy Gunn, Darby Allen and the Highlanders. That is just the beginning. Many more names will be announced as the event gets closer. Still, that list alone is an All-Star lineup and enough to get me to make the trip from Chicago.

It is too far in advance to have a wrestling card set, but I am sure it will be an excellent night of in-ring action. The midwest is a hotbed of wrestling and there will be some of the best wrestlers. Also, with so many big name wrestlers on site, who knows what might happen. Will there be any championships debuting? Time will tell and I will keep all updated here.

Like all conventions, the Squared Circle Expo's events include “and more,' but here it means something. It means fun, lots of fun.

I have known the Squared Circle Expo organizers for many years and have seen them in action at many other conventions. While the Squared Circle Expo will have “official” hours, I am quite sure the fun will extend well beyond. Whether it is hanging out at the hotel bar, chatting in the lobby, breaking into groups in our rooms or whatever, there will be plenty of great times away from the convention floor.

Of course, another awesome part of the Squared Circle will be reconnecting with my many friends among the attendees and making new friends this year. I love following the Squared Circle Expo events page on Facebook and seeing new friends commit to going every day. I know I will have a carload going. It's going to be a big reunion.

The Squared Circle Expo is four months away and I can't wait. Four months also means there is plenty of time for even more great guest announcements. I have never looked forward to a convention as much as I am for this.
