Squared Circle Expo Is Three Months Away
The Squared Circle Expo makes its debut in Indy May 29-30. I continue my coverage with the latest news about this great upcoming event.

When last I wrote about the Squared Circle Expo, the organizers had announced the first set of wrestler guests for their debut event May 29-30 in Indianapolis. Along with what promises to be a full lineup of wrestling legends, the two day event will also include meet and greets, photo ops, special events, seminars, memorabilia vendors, Q&A panels and more. There will even be a live wrestling show on Saturday night.
The first wave of wrestler announcements consisted of legends Kane (Glen Jacobs), Rey Mysterio, Christian, Vickie Guerrero, Al Snow, Demolition, Billy Gunn, Darby Allen and the Highlanders. Since then, the list has expanded to include Ted DiBiase, Gangrel, Sammy Guevara, Kevin Thorn, Shark Boy and Brian Knobbs. That's 15 wrestling superstars and with three months still to go, there are sure to be more great wrestling heroes added.
One of the all-time great tag-teams, Demolition Ax and Smash are appearing courtesy of Jayson Maples of Heroes & Legends Pro Wrestling. Based in Indiana, Jayson is the promoter of Heroes & Legends Wrestling Fanfest, a very popular event held several times a year, including Saturday, March 21 in Evansville, IN. Jayson is a class act and a friend. With three months to go, could Jayson add more wrestling stars to his contingent? Stay tuned.

Another cool part of the Squared Circle Expo is it is all happening at Wyndham Indianapolis West. I made my reservation months ago and I know rooms have been going fast. You don't have to stay there, but it will certainly make it easier. It will also be more fun to be staying with so many others.
While the Squared Circle Expo is quickly approaching, it is still too far away to solidify the wrestling card for Saturday night's event. Knowing the organizers, the matches will feature some great indy talent. Maybe some of the legends might be involved, too. I am also guessing there will be a SCE title at some point.

We are now just three months away from the Squared Circle Expo. I do not work for the SCE, but I know many of the folks involved and I know all are working to make this a unique fan experience.
When checking the SCE Facebook page this morning, I saw 65 of my friends have already committed to attending. Aside from the wrestling aspect, reconnecting with so many friends will be a huge part of SCE. I have my carload set and I know of several other groups coming from the Chicago area.
Of course, I will be “On the Beat' at the Squared Circle Expo and report back here. Until then, I will be checking their pages for updates and I will be providing recurring coverage here leading up to the Squared Circle Expo.
