Teachers at Allen Elementary receive a supply surprise
22 teachers at Allen Elementary School in Marion, Indiana were surprised with kits full of classroom supplies
CARMEL, Ind. (March 4, 2019) – Round Room LLC, the nation’s largest Verizon Authorized Wireless Retailer, announces today that more than 570 of its TCC stores donated school supply packs to nearly 6,000 teachers across the U.S.
The company’s sixth annual Teachers Rock Supply Giveaway took place during the week of Feb. 11 to help ensure classrooms are well-stocked at the start of the new year. Since 2014, TCC has donated more than 30,000 supply packs to deserving teachers across the country.
Each participating TCC store partnered with a local, deserving school to donate the supply packs—valued at $77 each. The supply packs include pencils, pens, dry erase markers, erasers, glue, paper, tissue boxes, sticky notes and more, and enable each teacher to impact an average of 30 students.

Not only do the TCC stores across the country give back, but the corporate teams do as well. On Tuesday, February 12, TCC's Customer Loyalty department teamed up to give back in a big way to teachers in Marion, Indiana. All 22 teachers on staff at Allen Elementary, pre-K to fourth grade, received the supply packs from TCC to help them prepare for another great semester.
“The National Center of Education Statistics reports that nearly all public school teachers spend $480 out of their own pockets to pay for school supplies each year,” said Scott Moorehead, CEO of Round Room, parent company of TCC. “It’s such an honor to be able to give back to educators across the country for six straight years. We want to show our deep appreciation for their hard work, and our Teachers Rock Supply Giveaway has been a great way to demonstrate how much we care.”
