VIDEO: Lion Tries Attacking Service Dog At Indianapolis Zoo

VIDEO: A family caught a few laughs when a big, furry zoo inhabitant tried coming after their service dog.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — A video a family recorded during their recent trip to the Indianapolis Zoo has gone viral, thanks to a service dog and a couple of lions. The 40-second video was posted to YouTube last month and has more than 23,000 views. It shows the moments a young female family member and her service dog were taking a look into the lion exhibit, when suddenly the male lion sneaks up on their service dog and tries to swipe at it.

The video also shows another lion who wanted to get in on the action.

While the lions may have been riled up, the dog and girl seem quite entertained. (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to Indianapolis Patch to receive daily newsletters and breaking news alerts and LIKE Indianapolis Patch on Facebook).
