Voter Registration In Indiana Ends Tuesday

Oct. 9 is the last day to register to vote in Indiana.

ACROSS INDIANA — A reminder for all Hoosiers that Tuesday, Oct. 9 is the last day for Indiana residents to register to vote in the Nov. 6 midterm elections. There are a few ways to do so, as long it's done by Oct. 9:

  • Register through text: Text "Indiana" to 2VOTE (28683) to get a link to the indianavoters.com, which will take you to complete your the registration process via phone.
  • Online: If you have a valid Indiana driver's license or state-issued ID card, you can register online through indianavoters.com.
  • In-person: Apply with your state license or ID at the county clerk's office, voter registration office or upload and turn in this form to the county voter registration office.

According to the Indiana Election Division, certain military and overseas voters have extended registration periods.
