W. 57th Street McDonald's Celebrates Grand Reopening

Restaurant leadership partners with health organizations to raise awareness in the community

INDIANAPOLIS (Sept. 14, 2019) – On Saturday, Sept. 14, McDonald’s franchisees James and Pamela Poore, who own and operate the McDonald’s restaurant at 4802 West 57th St. in Indianapolis showcased the restaurant’s new technology focused on convenience, hospitality and creating feel-good moments while helping raise awareness for a health issue that affects thousands of men every year.

The Poores and the entire restaurant team welcomed the local community to the grand reopening of their newly modernized restaurant, which now features a new appearance and a new level of choice and engagement through digital kiosks, table service, mobile order & pay and more.

To help support their community, the event featured local health educators, who shared information on prostate health and upcoming prostate health screenings. September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month and throughout September, restaurant staff is wearing blue shirts and customers can write the name of loved ones impacted by prostate cancer on blue ribbons which will hang in the restaurant.

As part of Saturday's event, the Poore organization donated $1,000 to the IU Health Foundation.
