Whoopi Goldberg To Headline Comedy Fundraiser In Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Someone famous - and funny- is coming to Indianapolis next year. Comedian, actress and advocate are just a few titles describing Whoopi Goldberg, who will take the stage at Hilbert Circle Theatre next April, according to WTHR. She'll entertain during Laughing Matters, an event raising money for the Cancer Support Community of Central Indiana, which provides programs supporting education and hope for our community members who are fighting cancer, WTHR reports. The news outlet also reports tickets to see Goldberg go on sale Dec. 1, and notes this event raises nearly one-quarter of all the annual funds the Cancer Support Community of Central Indiana needs to stay open.
