Woodridge Police Investigating Woodward Avenue Shooting
Woodridge police officers were called to the area at 10:40 a.m. Sunday where they found a man who'd been shot.
WOODRIDGE, IL — The Woodridge Police Department said they're investigating after one person was shot Sunday morning in the 7300 block of Woodward Avenue.
According to a news release from the police department, Woodridge police officers were called to the area at 10:40 a.m. where they found a man who'd been shot. According to police, the man was taken to the hospital by paramedics, and doctors expect him to survive.
According to Woodridge police, early investigation indicates this incident stemmed from an ongoing argument, and there is no danger to the public.

Police added that the Darien, Downers Grove and Lisle Police Departments assisted the Woodridge Police Department.
