Female President of Local Development Company

When Aimee Beaver graduated from St. Xavier College with her bachelor’s degree in history, she had no idea it would lead to her current job as President of Inspired Development Group. But in many ways, her background in history has been put to good use as she researches titles on the properties Inspired Development Group is renovating. Beaver started working with Inspired Title Group in 2016 and was named President of Inspired Development Group in 2019.

“Looking into the background (history) of each home is a great part of this job. It is amazing walking into a house and peeling back old wallpaper to see the culture of different time periods. I’ve found old newspapers that I’ve salvaged, some cassette tapes I rescued from a house that we completely rebuilt that was destroyed in a fire and even an old cartoon drawing that is now framed and hanging on my wall. I think the past is so easily forgotten that any time I can salvage parts of a house, I will, as long as the house is safe for the future homebuyers. The development work closely aligns with my passion for history,” Beaver said. Inspired Development Group is a real estate, development and construction company specializing in acquisition of properties in both Illinois and Indiana.

Beaver started her career in 2016 doing title searches for Inspired Title Group, the sister company for Inspired Development Group. “Her work was outstanding, including her organizational skills and her attention to detail. It became apparent that Aimee had a passion for the development work, so I promoted her to president of Inspired Development Group in March 2019,” said Dru Wischhover, Inspired Development Company founder and president of Inspired Title Group.

Inspired Development Group and Inspired Title Group focus on the Chicagoland and northern Indiana real estate and development markets. The Illinois office is located at 11757 Southwest Highway in Palos Heights. 7880 Wicker Ave, St. John and 821 45th Street in Griffith are the two Indiana locations.

On any given day, Beaver might be found onsite at a residential or commercial rehab, assisting with decorating or staging a house for sale. Recently she has worked on a new home construction in Indiana, assisting with the construction and the interior design.
