Woman Accused Of Dragging Valparaiso Salon Employee With Car
Police say a Valparaiso woman was arrested on charges of theft and criminal recklessness, accused of doing this to a nail salon employee.

VALPARAISO, IN — Police say a Valparaiso woman was arrested after she left a nail salon Saturday without paying and dragged a male employee across the parking lot with her car. The Times reported 28-year-old Charley Fowler, of the 1800 block of Lake Superior Road in Valparaiso, claimed she wasn't happy after having her nails done at the Diamonds Nails & Spa, 2505 LaPorte Ave. in Valparaiso, leading to the incident that took place shortly before noon, police said.
According to police, Salon employees said Fowler refused their offer to redo her nails before she left the shop without paying, and got in her car as an employee called police, The Times reported.
Police reported Fowler said she planned to wait for police to arrive but backed out when employees began beating on her window, although a surveillance video shows her backing out before employees even got to the car, The Times said.
