Former Indy Youth Minister Facing Child Pornography Charges

Former Indianapolis youth minister indicted on several federal sex charges, including child pornography: Report

The Associated Press reports an Indianapolis youth minister has been indicted on several child pornography charges for abusing a young teenager more than a dozen times and exchanging sexually explicit photos with her. 51-year-old Maurice Frazier was charged Thursday with coercion and enticement, sexual exploitation of a child, six counts of receipt of child pornography, possession of child pornography and an offense by a registered sex offender, AP News reports. According to the news outlet, federal prosecutors say the registered sex offender sexually abused the 14-year-old girl 15 to 20 times.

While prosecutors didn't say which church Frazier worked at, the indictment did say he met the 14-year-old through his ministry and had sex with her at different locations around Indianapolis, including a church office, his house and his car.

AP News says Frazier is on the Indiana Sex Offender Registry for a 2012 conviction for sexual battery.
