Halloween 2017: What's The Most Popular Halloween Candy In Indiana?

MORE: See which Halloween candy took the top spot in each state, including several non-chocolate winners.

ACROSS INDIANA — Halloween 2017 is fast approaching, which means it's time to find the perfect Halloween costume and start watching your favorite spooky Halloween movies. It's also only a matter of days before hordes of trick-or-treaters land on your front stoop in search of the best candy on the block.

But what types of candy should you be stocking up on? According to online candy distributor Candy Store, it all depends on where you live. Do you hail from Alabama? Be sure to have plenty of candy corn on hand. If you live in New York, Sour Patch Kids are the way to go.

The candy company did some digging into its sales data from the past 10 years and rounded up the top three best-selling candies in every state. While it's no surprise that classics like M&Ms, Snickers and Hershey's Kisses made the newly released list, wild cards like saltwater taffy and Swedish fish are a bit more unexpected.
