ACROSS INDIANA -- Indiana's Senate Public Policy Committee voted unanimously Wednesday to allow Sunday carryout alcohol sales. The committee approved the measure, Senate Bill 1, to allow grocery, convenience, drug and liquor stores to sell alcohol from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays, IndyStar reports.
The measure will move to the full Senate floor, where they will vote on to continue or end Indiana's nearly 85-year Sunday alcohol sales ban.
