Stop School Shootings
We have to put an end to mass murdering, especially in our schools. How can we?

Here we are again. Another mass shooting. 2 school shootings in one day recently. While I’m happy that the news (Fox News) seems to finally be saying the right thing in that guns should not be fully outlawed because it simply wouldn’t better us and it wouldn’t stop bad people who wanted to attack other’s from getting the guns anyway—or even then stop them from attacking us with any other means—and while I believe they’re also right in saying that employing armed protection in schools isn’t enough to protect the amount of students most schools have—I think that they are absolutely wrong in saying metal detectors would completely stop another attack—mind you of course they would help a tad bit—but it’s obvious that they wouldn’t matter when you look at the Sandy Hook Elementary school massacre for example, where the shooter just broke right in, whether or not a metal detector would’ve been in place there. So how do we really protect our schools is the big topic now. Gun bans should not be the topic, because that’s never going to happen (hopefully) and it shouldn’t, for many very good reasons. So how do we?
Very first of all, most importantly to me, it is abhorrently attrocious to me that there are very grotesque and easily accessible public sites on the internet that not only show in mass, but literally support the viewing and allowance to see any form of death in full detail and glory in nearly every manor—a prime example and one of the most disturbing is BestGore. The enabling of viewing of such horrific and traumatic events and death, of course, are part of this every day world, but it is obviously an easy outlet that could feed more darkness into people that like seeing such sick things. A hobby could form — therefore a mass shooter or serial killer.
(Best Gore really needs to be ended, as well as any and all like-wise websites/outlets)

Second of all, schools should focus on the indivdual students instead of them in mass, and they should dwell into matters more and realize when a person is in a dark place, in a wrongful state of mind, or has a troubling life that could create an explosive snap. Parents need to talk with their kids more about any problems their children could be having, even if it isn’t obvious at all that they might have a problem. Also in addition, the same can be said about our nation and our healthcare systems as a whole—we need to help people more instead of just prescribing medications and hoping they’ll be okay with talking about said problems at various psychiatric meetings, and letting the mentally deranged further become even more so.
Third of all, an idea that I think would help a lot if put in place, would be—once all students (in every school and campus) are in class, each classroom’s door should be locked shut. While it may be bad if a student opened fire in one of said classrooms (if they got past security & metal detectors) seeing that all students in that class would be trapped and doomed—in total it would be better most likely, as at least it would just be one classroom attacked and any possible attackers wouldn’t be able to just go from room to room spraying per say. In the Sandy Hook and Parkland massacres, locking classroom doors was an apparent and highly alarming issue, whereas in many reports the teachers couldn’t even lock the doors of their classrooms they were so focused on other safety concerns.

Whalt else? Maybe we have to start gating off our schools... sounds terrifying but it is a possibility.
