City Of South Bend Announces Traffic Alerts Starting Friday
All streets will remain open but will be restricted in the construction zone.

The City of South Bend Department of Public Works announces the following traffic alerts beginning Friday, August 28, weather permitting. These streets will be milled and resurfaced:

- Lafayette Boulevard from South to Sample Streets – Friday, August 28 through Wednesday, September 2.
- Chapin Street from Western Avenue to Sample Street – Monday, August 31 through Thursday, September 3
