“We are so pleased to have the opportunity to share these supplies with our students as they continue to eLearn,” said Dean Moore, Executive Director of the Education Foundation. “Our hope is that these supplies will alleviate some of the expenses our families face with the start of the school year, but can also provide them with learning materials that will help engage them and supplement their remote instruction.”
With the support of WNDU, Notre Dame Federal Credit Union, Goodwill Industries, Better World Books, Anthem Inc., Latin American Chamber of Commerce, Meijer, and MD Wise, some 1,500 backpacks filled with supplies will be distributed.
Backpack contents are most appropriate for students in grades K-6, but all ages are welcome.
