Intersection Of Michigan And Wayne Streets To Close Monday

Beginning Monday, September 16, the intersection of Michigan and Wayne Streets will close to vehicular traffic as part of the Michigan Street Improvement Project. Work will include the installation of new traffic signals and the removal and replacement of crosswalks and pavement in the intersection.

Detour routes will be Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard or Main Street to Western Avenue or Jefferson Boulevard. The anticipated reopening date of the intersection is Friday, September 27, weather permitting.
