Latest Police Discipline Matrix Draft Presented To South Bend Board Of Public Safety

Mayor James Mueller presented the latest version of the police discipline matrix to the Board of Public Safety on Thursday, July 9. The newest version of the matrix incorporates feedback from residents collected since an earlier draft was released in June.

Mayor James Mueller presented the latest version of the police discipline matrix to the Board of Public Safety on Thursday, July 9. The newest version of the matrix incorporates feedback from residents collected since an earlier draft was released in June.

The new matrix incorporates two rounds of feedback gathered from the public electronically and through previous Community Action Group meetings, and includes six levels of possible misconduct with discipline for each category of violation.
