South Bend Police Officer Injured In Car Crash: Police
South Bend Police Department officials say an officer was hospitalized after a Friday morning crash.
SOUTH BEND, IN — South Bend Police Department officials say one of their officers was released from the hospital Friday morning after being injured in an early morning crash. Police say the officer was involved in a car crash in the area of Western and Kaley and was in serious condition with back and face injuries.
WSBT reported an SUV was also involved in the crash, but there's been no details on injuries on that end.
Police say the St. Joseph County's Fatal Alcohol Crash Team (FACT) was called to the scene to investigate. Any further information will come from the county's FACT.
