The Code of Conduct sets out a comprehensive set of expectations for students’ behaviors in and out of school. The Code also outlines the role of appropriate discipline in achieving quality education for every student every day and strengthening the school community.
Organizers of the meetings seek to determine attendees’ familiarity with the Code of Conduct as well as their experiences with it. A survey will also be available at the meetings. The information gathered will help the corporation identify issues with the current Code of Conduct and provide corporation leadership with the means to address those issues.
The Corporation held four in-person meetings last week, as well as four virtual meetings this week. The additional in-person meetings will also include a brief presentation by the Corporation’s Student Services staff.
