Thank you for the continued vigilance to keep all members of the community safe and comfortable during the on-going pandemic. As we may be feeling a sense of COVID-19 fatigue, remember good social hygiene habits of wearing masks and social distancing are our primary defenses from virus spread. Know that we continue to work with our state and local health departments to be ready to assist as we are able with vaccine distribution as soon as doses become available.

Recently, the State launched a Homebound Hoosiers vaccination program to utilize emergency medical personnel to help distribute vaccines as they become available to homebound Hoosiers. Mayor Emily Styron continues to work with State and County agencies and communicate to our fire department to be prepared to participate in these programs as we are able to. Be sure to check in with your preferred pharmacy since many may be utilized as vaccination sites as supply increases. You are encouraged to monitor the vaccine eligibility brackets and sign up for available spots through the State portal or by calling 211.
