Firefighter Rescued In Downtown Frankfort Fire: Dispatch
The fire broke out at a business in downtown Frankfort Tuesday morning, Jan. 22, authorities said.

FRANKFORT, IN — The Frankfort Police Department is advising the public to avoid the downtown area due to a large building fire that several sources said has sent a firefighter to the hospital.
According to Clinton County Central Dispatch, a firefighter was rescued from the fire by firefighters and was taken to the hospital.
Dispatch reported the Frankfort Fire Department arrived to the scene of a structure fire in the 50 block of W. Washington Street, a pet grooming store, earlier this morning around 9:30 a.m.

Dispatch adds that due to the fire in downtown Frankfort, Frankfort City Light & Power had to shut down power in the area.
Police also recommend taking an alternate route as officers and fire department crews are on the scene.
