Funeral Scheduled For Sibling Victims Of Double Murder-Suicide

Calling and celebration of life for Zionsville teen siblings will take place Thursday, Sept. 27.

BOONE COUNTY, IN — Funeral services for two teen siblings who were tragically killed at their Boone County home Friday will be held Thursday, Sept. 27. According to ARN Funeral and Cremation Services, the calling for 13-year-old Shelby Hunn and 15-year-old Harrison Hunn will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at Traders Point Christian Church, located at 6590 S. Indianapolis Road in Whitestown, followed by followed by a celebration of life at the church, according to ARN's website.

A GoFundMe page has been created for the teen's mother, Stephanie Reece (pictured, middle), for what the page's creator said will be many expenses she'll face in the next several months. Nearly $129,000 of a $150,000 goal has been raised since Saturday.

On Friday, the Boone County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a 911 call around 10:30 a.m. from the teens' mom, who told deputies Zionsville schools said her children didn't report to school Friday morning, and she couldn't get in contact with them or their father, from whom she was divorced.

Deputies conducted a welfare check at the man's home on County Road 900 East, where the sheriff's office said they found the body of 50-year-old man, dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, and the bodies of his two children, Shelby and Harrison, both dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

The Harrison and Shelby Hunn Memorial Scholarship Fund has been established through the Central Indiana Tennis Association Foundation.
