Hundreds of U.S. Officers Expected At IN Deputy Pickett's Funeral
Hundreds of law enforcement members traveling to Brownsburg for the funeral for Boone County Sheriff's Deputy Jacob Pickett: Report

BROWNSBURG, IN — Hundreds of police officers from across the U.S. are expected to be in Brownsburg Friday for the funeral of Boone County Sheriff's Deputy Jacob Pickett, exactly one week after he was fatally shot during a police chase. AP News reports the funeral will take place Friday afternoon at Connection Pointe Christian Church in the Indianapolis suburb where Pickett grew up.
A procession route following the funeral will head down I-65 to Lebanon, stop at the Boone County Sheriff's Office, then will take I-65 south to Zionsville and then U.S. 421 to Indianapolis. AP News reports Pickett will be buried at Crown Hill Cemetery..

The 34-year-old husband and father of two boys was shot while he ran after a 21-year-old during a chase on March 2 in Lebanon. That young man, Anthony Baumgardt, faces murder charges in Pickett's death.
