INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett is condemning those who stay silent about gun violence and people with guns following a shooting early Thursday that killed a one-year-old girl and injured a nineteen-year-old woman. AP News reports Mayor Hogsett told everyone at a news conference that apathy and silence about gun violence is his biggest fear following the morning shooting, where more than 20 shots were fired into an Indianapolis home on the city's east side

As of Friday the full names of the child and the woman have not been released.
