Tails on the Trails encourages dog owners to get outside this fall and explore Zionsville parks. Dog walkers can walk on their own or participate in weekly scheduled dog walks throughout Zionsville’s parks and trails. This year all group walks require registration and are limited to 15 people. Walkers must wear a mask and keep six feet from others while enjoying parks and trails.

Weekly tips are posted on the Town of Zionsville Facebook page and walkers are encouraged to share photos with the hashtag #tailsonthetrails. Prizes are available to walkers who register and submit walks and walkers who complete six of the eight walks.

“This is our sixth year hosting Tails on the Trails,” said Zionsville Parks Interim Superintendent Mindy Murdock. “We have found that group walks are a great opportunity for you and your dog to discover new park trails while safely socializing and gathering information about our parks and programs.”
