No Charges To Be Filed In Iowa Shooting Death: County Attorney
The Clay County attorney said a man shot to death in a Spencer home had violated a no-contact order and broke into the residence.

SPENCER, IA — The Clay County Attorney's Office will not file charges in the shooting death of Nicolas Bandomo in Spencer last September. The county attorney announced on Wednesday that it found the shooter was justified in using deadly force.
Bandomo, 30, of Albert City was shot around 12:30 a.m. Sept. 1. Medics responded to the shooting at a home at 819 E. 12th St. in Spencer and found Bandomo injured outside the house. He was transported to the Spencer Hospital and later transferred to a Sioux Falls, S.D., hospital, where he died.
An investigation by the Spencer police, the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and the county attorney's office found that Bandomo had illegally gained entry into the occupied home. At the time, multiple protection orders were in place barring Bandomo from having contact with the home's residents.
