Ames Man Charged With Heroin Possession After OD
A woman found unconscious in a parking lot of the Walcott truck stop led to the arrest of an Ames man, police say.

An Ames man was charged with felony possession with intent to deliver heroin and more after police found heroin in a vehicle and a woman who had overdosed in an I-80 truck stop in Walcott, according to WQAD.com.
Michael Aagesen, 26, faces the possession with intent to deliver charge as well as felony possession of a controlled substance, third offense; and possession of drug paraphernalia and prohibited acts, the report said.
Emergency crews went to the Iowa Interstate 80 Truck Stop about 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, because a 21-year-old woman was reportedly unconscious and unresponsive in the parking lot, reports said.
