Ames Municipal Band Concert

The Ames Municipal Band will present a free concert this Thursday at 8:00 pm at Bandshell Park.  Featured will be vocalist Anson Woodin and flute soloist Sonja Giles.

Simon Estes will appear with the Municipal Band at next week’s concert.  His appearance is being postponed due to Estes being asked to speak to the U.N. later this week.

The Ed Kaizer and Friends jazz grouop will provide pre-show entertainment beginning at 7:00 pm.

You are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket to this free concert.
