Student consumable and text book fees in the Ames School District range from $50 for early Kindergarteners all the way up to $125 for high school students.
Students can also be charged for planners and workbooks so fees can be much higher in middle and high school grades.
High school students will also pay a $25 deposit for their laptops this fall. However, no family will be charged a deposit of more than $100.
