Asphalt Paving To Begin On North Franklin Avenue In Ames

North Franklin Avenue from Lincoln Way to Oakland Street will be closed during the final asphalt surface layer paving scheduled for Thursday, July 8, weather permitting. During paving all driveway and side street access will be restricted in the work zone. This work is anticipated to take two days.

All are encouraged to take note of this construction activity in the area and allow extra travel time as delays may occur. Please use alternative routes if available. As always, caution should be exercised when traveling through the construction area.
