The Iowa State Cyclones were expected to get an invitation to the NCAA Basketball Tournament regardless of what happened in their Saturday matchup against Kansas. Now the only question is where they’ll be seeded: The Cyclones came from behind for the third time in three games to defeat Kansas, 70-66, and win the Big 12 Championship.

Georges Niang led the Cyclones with 19 points and was named Player of the Game.

The Cyclones went into the half trailing, 37-23, but went on a run to open the second half and took the lead, 53-51, with 8 minutes to go in the game.

Kansas tied it at 63 with 1:29 left.

Iowa State pulled ahead, though, icing it with two free throws by Naz Long with 2.9 seconds left.
