Bloomington Road Improvements Continue In Ames
The City of Ames has contracted with Manatts to complete this project, which includes milling and overlaying Bloomington Road.

The second stage of pavement improvements to Bloomington Road from Grand to Hoover avenues will begin Friday, May 7, weather permitting. During this stage, the two north (westbound) lanes of Bloomington Road from Grand to Hoover avenues will reopen and the two south (eastbound) lanes will close. Eastbound traffic on Bloomington Road will be shifted to single-lane traffic in both directions on the north (westbound) lanes. Access to Roy Key Avenue south of Bloomington Road will also be closed.

The City of Ames has contracted with Manatts to complete this project, which includes milling and overlaying Bloomington Road. The project is expected to be complete in four to five weeks.
All are encouraged to take note of this construction activity in the area, please use alternative routes if available, and allow extra travel time as delays may occur. As always, caution should be exercised when traveling through the construction area.
