To assist FHA-insured mortgage borrowers with keeping their homes, HUD is providing a COVID-19 mortgage payment relief option to delinquent borrowers. This relief will only be available until June 30, 2021. FHA-insured mortgage borrowers who are having difficulty paying the mortgage due to the pandemic are instructed to contact their mortgage servicer – the entity to which mortgage payments are made. If you are unable to contact your mortgage servicer, contact a HUD-approved housing counseling agency by phone at 800.569.4287 or online at www.hud.gov/housingcounseling
