New Stores Shoot Fireworks Above North Grand Mall

Want to know when new stores are opening at North Grand Mall, look no further than the sky.

Kohls, TJ Maxx and Shoe Carnival plan to celebrate their March openings with fireworks.

The display is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. March 7. Fireworks will kick off grand opening festivities at all three stores.

“We are pleased that these national retailers, new to the Ames market, have selected North Grand Mall to open new stores.  Their presence expands the selection of merchandise for our shoppers and creates a positive synergy with the shopping center’s current merchants,” Greg Kveton, principal-development, GK Development, Inc. the shopping center’s owner, said in a prepared statemennt.

TJ Maxx is expected to open March 6, Shoe Carnival is expected to open March 16, and Kohl’s is expected to open March 3, according to signage around the mall.
